Danville, Virginia

Gamewood Data Systems, Inc.(GDS), provider of Internet access and information technology services for Southside Virginia is pleased to announce it has expanded its territory for dialup Internet access. In addition to Internet services to existing localities, GDS now supports exchanges in South Boston/Halifax and Martinsville, Virginia.

The Gamewood mission is to provide individuals and organizations a connection to the vast information resources of the Internet. GDS offers a consistently available Internet access service, the ability for local networks to obtain independent Internet domains through GDS, and presentation services for individuals and groups on the World Wide Web.

"We are pleased to expand our service delivery area to include the South Boston/Halifax and Martinsville areas. These additions allow us to cover the full Southside Virginia region and set the stage for the rollout of new and added services to our customers in the coming months," said Dr. Franklin W. Maddux, President of Gamewood.

Gamewood encompasses three primary organizations, namely Gamewood Data Systems, Gamewood Telecom and the Gamewood Technology Fund*. Gamewood related organizations continue to strive to advance the technology boundaries for the benefit of our Virginia communities.
